NEW EDITORIAL INITIATIVE
Middle East Voices launches its latest social journalism project, Syria Witness, December 20, 2011. Look for these compelling narratives on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Senior reporter David Arnold has identified residents of Damascus and Homs to join our Syria Witness initiative. They are three Syrians who will give you a street-level look at how they survive in the midst of political dissent, shooting in the streets and the challenges of going to school, working and putting food on the table.
They will tell their stories week to week in a personal diary or question-and-answer format. Real stories told by real Syrians.
We are also identifying others to help shape the diversity of the Syrian experience. If you are Syrian, you can tell your story. The identities of all contributors will remain confidential for their own security and that of their families.
