The United Nations says the number of refugees fleeing the conflict in Syria has exploded in the past month from a few hundred to thousands a day. According to estimates, by the end of the year the total could reach 700,000, three times the number projected a month ago. VOA’s Scott Bobb visited Bab al-Salama in northern Syria, 60 kilometers north of Aleppo, which has a holding camp for those awaiting permission to cross into Turkey. He filed this report.
