Concern over the escalating crisis in Syria and a possible shift in U.S. policy is sweeping the halls of Capitol Hill today.

Meanwhile at the same time, Senator John Kerry presides over a U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing titled “Syria: U.S. Policy Options.” Testimony is expected from Murhaf Jouejati, Professor, Near East South Asia Center for Strategic Studies, National Defense University; Jon B. Alterman, Zbigniew Brzezinski Chair in Global Security and Geostrategy Center for Strategic and International Studies; and Tamara Cofman Wittes, Director, Saban Center for Middle East Policy, Brookings Institution.
